PACKARDS SOUTH/MIDDLE FIELDS/BOSTON PARK/POOR PIECE and TEN ACRE LAKE – 1015 to 1040hrs – the first 3 COMMON CRANES of the year were seen this morning. They flew around the Moors before moving off to the north (JR, SF, TR, MH, SH, LE).

Please note that as last year in the interests of the birds security I will not be putting future records of Common Cranes on the blogs but if people do submit records to me I will continue to record them on the RSPB/BTO Birdtrack system where I can set the SENSITIVE signal so that the records do not go public. Chris.
