RIVER TORNE (Wroot to A614 Lincs/S Yorks) – 3 Buzzard, 31 Canada Geese, 9 Cormorant, 2 Corn Bunting, 43 Curlew, 1 Goosander W then E later; 1 GBB Gull, 66 Greylag Geese, 2 Grey Wagtail, 12 Herring Gull S, 3 Kestrel, 47 Lapwing, 51 Mallard over, 1f Marsh Harrier, 5 Moorhen, 12 Mute Swan, 5 Pink-footed Geese, 5 Redpoll, 20 Siskin, 2 Sparrowhawk, 2 Teal, 6 Water Rail (A Marshall)

TEN ACRE LAKE – 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 7 Mallard, 11 Gadwall, 16 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 2 Jay, c.35 Greenfinch (CN).

KILHAM – 2 Mallard, 46 Teal (probably included 22 from Belton Moor), 2 Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Cormorant, 5 Grey Heron, 4 Goldcrest, 1 Bullfinch  (CN). 1 Snipe and 1m Stonechat (MP)

STAINFORTH MOOR DRAIN (west of Peatworks) – 4 Moorhen, 10 Mallard, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard, 2 Pied Wagtail, c.25 Redpoll (CN & CCR)

DRAGON PITS – 10 Coot, 44 Gadwall, 2 Little Grebe, 40 Mallard, 1m Mandarin, 5 Moorhen, 5 Mute Swan, 20 Shoveler , 23 Tufted Duck and 1 Water Rail (TR & DM).

PACKARDS NORTH – 5 Grey Heron, 21 Lapwing, 1 Snipe (AM)

LINDHOLME VILLAGE07.55 – c 400 Pink-footed Geese went E to W. 1 Grey Wagtail. (08.32) c 65 Greylag Geese + another 18 went E to W at 08.35 presumed same as those counted on Woodward Lakes and Lodges (MP)

JET SKI LAKE08.37-08.55 – 1 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Mute Swan, 2 Gadwall, 4 Mallard, 63 Coot, c 70 Black Headed Gulls. Also 2 Bullfinch, 5 Fieldfare (MP)

TYRHAM HALL FISHERY08.55-09.50 – 15 Coot, 5 Mute Swan, 2 Moorhen, 24 Mallard, 6 Gadwall, 2 Wigeon, 1 Cormorant, 1 Common Gull. 45 Canada Geese came from Huggin Carr direction at 09.45 and settled on THF. Also present were 12 Siskin, c 25 Redpoll, GS Pecker and a Sparrowhawk (MP).

PRISON LAKES10.00-11.00 – 2 Tufted Duck, 1 female Goldeneye, 16 Gadwall, 128 Mallard, 1 Mute Swan, 2 Moorhen, 2 Teal, 1 Grey Heron, 5 Herring Gull went SW. Also present were 2 Bullfinch, 7 Redwings, 5 Chaffinch, 3 Goldcrest and a Watervole. 4 Grey Herons were resting on Packards North at 11.05 (MP). At 11.12 a Snipe was flushed from the south side of Kilham West and at 11.30 an adult male Peregrine flew from Middle Fields and off over Kilham East. Additionally a male Stonechat was seen on Kilham West at 15.10 (MP).

ETHELMOOR (West)11.40-13.10 – c 130 Black Headed Gull, 1 Lesser Black Backed Gull, c 120 Mallard, c 70 Teal. Also present were 2 Yellowhammers, 2 Bullfinch, 4 Linnets, 3 Reed Buntings, 1 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 14 Stock Dove flew over as did 12 Starling, c 60 Jackdaw, c 90 Rook. At 11.40ish 26 Pink-footed Geese went S over New Moor, presumably part of the c.300 seen along Idlebank later in the afternoon (MP).

BOSTON PARK/POOR PIECE – 73 BH Gull, 47 Coot, 35 Gadwall, 9 Little Grebe, 3 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 1 Oystercatcher, 18 Pochard, 9 Teal, 36 Tufted Duck, 1 Water Rail, 4 Wigeon (TR)

BADGER CORNER LAKE – 48 Canada Geese, 5f Goldeneye, 1m Goosander (thought to be same bird as seen along River Torne), 74 Greylag Geese, 120 Mallard (TR)
