PACKARDS – 4 ARCTIC TERN N, 50+ Black-headed Gull, 7+ Buzzard, 1 Commic Tern N (almost certainly another Arctic), 1 Common Tern N, 2 Curlew, 11 Dunlin, 3 Gadwall, 2 (1N) Greenshank, 2 Greylag, 11 Lapwing, 3 LRP, 3 Mallard, 1 MEDITERRANEAN GULL, 5 Redshank, 30 Ringed Plover, 12 Shelduck (assumed 7 of these joined birds on New Moor to make 34 as only 5 on Packards by late afternoon); 1 Sparrowhawk, 10 Teal, 1 TURNSTONE (moved off east towards New porters but returned to Packards late afternoon), 1 TURTLE DOVE, 1 WHIMBREL (Andy Marshall, John Wozencroft, Dave Hursthouse, John Robinson, Col Neale, Chris Robinson)

KILHAM – 23 Mallard (3 young), 7 Teal, 4 Gadwall, 4 Shelduck, 1 Greenshank, 2 Lapwing, 2 Buzzard, 2 Jay, 1p Stonechat, 1m NIGHTJAR (160th species for the Moors’ year list), 1f Wheatear (Col Neale)

ETHELMOOR – 4 Greylag, 13 Mallard (1 young), 1 Teal, 1+ CUCKOO (Col Neale)

NEW PORTERS – 6 Redshank, 1 Turnstone (assumed same as Packards bird); 2 Oystercatcher, 8 Ringed Plover, 14 Lapwing, 12 Mallard, 4 Greylag, 3 Shoveler ( 2m,1f), 1 Peregrine, 2 Buzzard, 1m+1f Stonechat (John Robinson)

NEW MOOR – 1 LRP, 4 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 WOOD SANDPIPER, 2 Greylag,3 Greenshank, 2 Redshank, 2 Shoveler (p), 2 Gadwall (p), 6 Teal, 14 Mallard, 34 Shelduck, 8 Lapwing + 2 chicks, 1 Sparrowhawk (John Robinson)

WOODWARD LAKES (Huggin Carr) – 5 Black-headed Gull, 3 Buzzard, 78 Canada Geese inc several broods of juvs); 34 Coot (at least 5 nests – one with two eggs and another with four), 4 Curlew, 1p+1m Gadwall, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 68 Greylag inc many juvs of various ages); 1 KNOT, 5 Lapwing, 2 Little Grebe, 1 LRP, 17 Mallard, 9 Mute Swan, 10 Oystercatcher, 2 Redshank, 2 Shelduck, 18 Tufted Duck (maimnly paired), 7 Yellow Wagtail (Chris Robinson, Justin Carr and Col Neale)
