ETHEL MOOR – 1 REDSTART was seen along the eastern edge at 07:00 but not thereafter (Mark Paine)

NEW MOOR/NEW PORTERS – 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 pale phase HONEY BUZZARD passed the observer at very close range and very low as it moved SE across New Porters, the observer thought he may have flushed it off the Tramway; 2 Yellow-legged Gull (Andy Marshall). There was a pale phase bird on Thorne Moors within last few days so perhaps it is the same bird lingering in the area, so may be worth keeping your eyes open for it. Also 5+ Buzzard, 3+ Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk (Col Neale and Chris Robinson)

WROOT ACRES – 1p Linnet probably feeding young, 1 cc MARSH HARRIER with little or no shoulder patches, 2+ Yellow Wagtail (Andy Marshall and Col Neale)

PACKARD’S SOUTH – 5 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Dunlin, 5 LRP, 3 Oystercatcher, 2 Redshank, 8 Ringed Plover, 4 SANDERLING (Chip Rhodes)

EAST FIELDS – 1f MARSH HARRIER with well-marked shoulder patches (Steve and Robin Furber)

All above except Honey Buzzard entered on Birdtrack.
