BOTTOM BOUNDARY BOSTON PARK – 32 Blackbird, 8 Song Thrush, 12 Redwing, 54 Fieldfare (Mark Paine)

PACKARD’S HEATH – 1f PEREGRINE (Mark Paine)

EASTERN MOORS – afternoon – 1100 Lapwing, 65 Golden Plover, 4 Dunlin, 3 Snipe, 2 Goosander, c35 Shoveler, 1 cc MARSH HARRIER, 6 Buzzard, 2 Sparrowhawk, 3 Kestrel and a MERLIN. 9 Siskin, 12 Redpoll, 2 Stonechat. Pinkfeet numbers remain c 600 but with groups of several hundred coming and going in addition however numbers are down as the shooting season impacts adjacent areas. Total of c.850 Fieldfare with 550 in one group W; c.140 Redwing. Also a Brown Hawker dragonfly (Mark Paine)

10 ACRE LAKE: (Morning),  1 Grey Heron, 2 Little Grebe, 60 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 3 Jay.  (Afternoon), 60 Fieldfare W  (Colin Wall).

KILHAM: 24 Teal, 12 Wigeon, 7 Lapwing (east), 1 Snipe, 2 Stonechat, 4 Bullfinch, 6 Reed Bunting.  (Colin Wall).

KILHAM (EAST): c150 Mallard, 9 Long-tailed Tit,  2 Goldcrest (Colin Wall).

ETHELMOOR EAST:  2 Whooper Swan,  c60 Pink-footed Goose NE,  12 Wigeon,  8 Shoveler,  c.200 Lapwing (circling),  1 Buzzard,  1 WILLOW/MARSH TIT didn’t call and disappeared but thought more than likely to be the former; 5 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Goldcrest, 12 Reed Bunting on Middle Bank  (Colin Wall).

PACKARDS:   1 Green Woodpecker (Colin Wall).

LINDHOLME ISLAND: (Afternoon)  5 Cormorants (west), 12 Blue Tits pre-roosting assemblage in tree next to Lindholme Hall (Colin Wall).
