ETHELMOOR/NEW MOORMorning – 3 WOOD SANDPIPER, 3+ Greenshank, 1 Redshank, 11 Ringed Plover, 1 OSPREY W, 1 cc MARSH HARRIER, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 HOBBY, 2j WOODLARK, 1 Blackcap, 2 Garden Warbler, 13 Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaff, 11 Willow Warbler, 1 Reed Bunting (John Robinson, Col Neale and Paul Shawcroft)

PACKARD’SEvening – 1 Little Egret, 1 LITTLE STINT, 1 cc MARSH HARRIER, 47 Ringed Plover, 13 Snipe (5 down+8 S), 2 WHEATEAR, 3 WOOD SANDPIPER flew S along the western edge of the Moor, these were possibly different to the 3 on New Moor which is approximately 1.5 miles to the east of the western edge of Packard’s; New Moor will be checked again tomorrow to see if the 3 there are still present (Andy Marshall)
