ETHELMOOR – 110 birds ringed this morning, including 4 Meadow Pipits, 3 Chiffchaff , 3 Siskin, and 84 Lesser Redpoll. Also present were 750 Pink-footed Geese, 2 CRANE, 12 Fieldfare and 5 Redwing (Col Neale & Paul Shawcroft)

PACKARD’S SOUTH – c.600 Pink-footed Geese, 189 Fieldfare (largest group c 90), 83 Redwing, 1 BRAMBLING, 6 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 6 Siskin, many Redpoll in small numbers widely scattered (Mark Paine)
